It's Official: Olivia Rodrigo x Chappell Roan "expectations" Remix

The remix and music video drop Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET.

The leak was real: Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan are dropping an "expectations" remix, and it's Chappell's FIRST EVER FEATURE!!!!!!

On October 12, a listing from German music retailer JPC sent fans spiraling, and neither singer would confirm it. One day later, Olivia made it official. She posted a set photo on Instagram of the two of them in '80s-style tutus on top of a vintage car. Her Stories teaser even had a voice (presumed to be Chappell's) joking that Olivia does remixes now.

This one has been a long time coming. Chappell opened for Olivia on the 2024 GUTS world tour, and fans have been asking for a collab ever since.
